History, tradition and innovation

"The special house of linen" began its activity in 1867 in the same historical location where it still stands today continuing with tradition, in Via dei Prefetti in Rome, in front of the Parliament Building. The Old Palace Pallavicini-Montorio from 1300 is the company's headquarters and is one of the historical buildings of ancient Rome. It was one of the first textile business by the end of 1800, already mentioned in the books of the history of Rome "Ancient Rome Arts and Crafts" where you could find fine silks, linen fabrics and garments. The noble Roman families bought the fabrics for home products commonly used as bedding, curtains and furniture. In 1937, Cav. Mario Pizzolato, who had 13 linen stores in the Veneto region , took over the company and moved to Rome with his family. Since then three generations that have followed have led the company through the years until it became one of the most important companies in the capital in the field of household linen and underwear for men and women and children. Product quality, innovation, style Made in Italy, and customer service are the strength of Tebro for over 140 years. The ability to create their collections of women’s lingerie, men’s intimates, and child has completed this unique and exclusive company that is also able to satisfy the most demanding customers by including personalized products.
